Short, clear answers to the questions people ask most.
What Are Nootropics?
Nootropics are nutrients, plant extracts, and synthetics that support aspects of cognition: focus, attention, memory, motivation, and stress resilience. They are not a single drug class. Common groups include cholinergics (for example Alpha-GPC and CDP-Choline), amino acids (L-Theanine, N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine), adaptogens (Rhodiola, Lion's Mane), and racetams.
Quality and dosing matter. Look for products made in cGMP facilities with third-party testing to verify identity, potency, and purity. Results vary by individual and goal. No supplement replaces sleep, nutrition, hydration, and movement. If you are new, start with one well-studied ingredient and evaluate how you feel over a couple of weeks before adding anything else.
Start with one clear goal: focus, calm, memory, energy, or sleep. Choose a single ingredient that matches it and keep the rest of your routine steady so you can observe changes. Take the lowest effective serving on the label at the same time each day for 7–14 days, then adjust only if needed.
New users often begin with non-stim options such as L-Theanine (calm focus) or Lion's Mane (learning support). Track simple notes on sleep, mood, and productivity. One change at a time beats big overhauls. Prefer a shortcut? Take our quick quiz or read the beginner's guide.
"Stacking" means combining complementary ingredients to target a goal. Aim for synergy, not size. Two or three well-chosen compounds usually beat a long list. Keep roles clear (for example, a focus driver paired with a smoothing co-pilot) and add only one change at a time.
Many people pair caffeine with L-Theanine for calm alertness, or add a choline source (Alpha-GPC or CDP-Choline) with racetams. Space stimulating ingredients earlier in the day, cycle or take rest days if tolerance builds, and pause if anything feels off. Prefer plug-and-play? Start with a pre-built stack designed for your goal.
We are moving to third-party testing on all new batches for identity, purity, and contaminants. Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are available on request and via QR codes on newer product labels. We target ≥99% purity (HPLC/GC-MS) from accredited labs.
Some older batches may not yet have a published COA. Scan the QR on your bottle when available, visit our quality page, or message us to confirm the latest COA for any product before you buy.

Stacks vs single ingredients?
Pre-built stacks pair complementary ingredients for a specific goal—focus, calm, memory, or energy—so you spend less time researching pairings. Single ingredients give you full control to build your own stack one compound at a time. Many beginners start with a stack, then swap individual ingredients as they learn their response.
