What is Fladrafinil?
Fladrafinil is a recently introduced wakefulness-promoting agent structurally similar to, and the precursor, to Modafinil. I thought 20mg was too small of a dose, I was wrong, my research lead me to believe 40mg is the minimum dosage. Long story short 20mg was perfect for me, 40mg gave me palpitations and shakiness, but strangely no anxiety.
It’s best to take this as early as possible in the day due to the long half life(duration of action) to prevent insomnia.
Highly advise against taking this daily, it hasn’t been studied well enough, I would at max use this once a week.
Results are subtle but noticable, mood boost, motivation, energy, focus, and I’m not sure how to put it but increased tolerance for boredom. One particularly amazing effect is the complete clearing of any brain fog, the mental clarity from this is unparalleled. However the 40mg dosage worsened my brain fog while 20mg was just perfect. You will need to experiment to find the right dosage for you.
I’ve noticed some side effects like stomach discomfort, shakiness, and headache which was pretty mild. But the shakiness from taking 40mg was too much to bear, taking 20mg significantly reduced all the above mentioned side effects.
I think it has some potential for abuse at high doses, but there is little to none euphoria at the lower dosages. And taking too much will actually worsen your mental clarity, focus and energy. Just be responsible and this can be a great “supplement” when needed.
